رؤية المستشرق هاملتون جب لمعوقات الوحدة الإسلامية من خلال کتاب وجهة الإسلام دراسة تحليلية

      أثار المستشرق "هاملتون جب" في کتاب "وجهة الإسلام" عددا من الشبهات التي زعم أنها تعوق مسيرة الوحدة الإسلامية، لکن المبادئ الإسلامية وتطبيقاتها التاريخية قد أثبتت أن تلک المزاعم أثيرت بغرض القضاء على الوحدة الإسلامية وتفکيک روابطها، أما انتشار الإسلام واشتمال دولته على أجناس کثيرة وتقاليد قديمة فإنه لا يؤدي إلى غياب الوحدة الإسلامية، لأن الإسلام يعترف بالتنوع في إطار الوحدة العامة، وأما مسلک المسلمين تجاه رعاياهم المسيحيين فإنه يقوم على البر، وأما الخلفاء فلم يکونوا فاسدين ولا طامعين ولا مستبدين، وإنما کانوا حريصين على وحدة الأمة الإسلامية وحمايتها من المخططات التدميرية، وفکرة الجامعة الإسلامية إنما کانت لمواجهة التحريضات الغربية التي تسعى إلى شق الصف الإسلامي، وأما الخلاف المذهبي والسياسي بين المسلمين فإنه لا يدعو إلى النزاع والصراع وإنما يدعو إلى التکامل والإبداع، لکن القوى الماکرة بالإسلام استهدفت من خلال إثارة الخلاف أن تقضي على الوحدة بين المسلمين، وأما التفاوت الثقافي بين المسلمين فهو نتيجة للغزو الفکري الذي هاجم الثقافة الإسلامية، وقد دعا البحث إلى ضرورة الکشف عن روافد الوحدة الإسلامية ورد الشبهات المثارة حولها، وبيان الحقائق التاريخية التي حرص المستشرقون على تزييفها، وتقديم رؤية معاصرة تسهم في بناء الوحدة الإسلامية، ومنهجي في الدراسة هو المنهج الاستقرائي، ومن خلاله أقوم بجمع الآراء التي ذکرها "هاملتون جب" حول معوقات الوحدة الإسلامية والوقوف على حقائق هذه الآراء بهدف الوصول إلى رؤيته الکلية التي أراد بيانها، وکذلک المنهج التحليلي، ومن خلاله أقوم بإعادة النصوص التي اعتمد عليها "هاملتون جب" إلى مبادئها الأولى وإخضاعها للتحليل والتفسير للوقوف على أغراضه التي سعى إليها، ونقدها وفق المنهج العلمي السليم، وخلصت الدراسة إلى حرص هاملتون جب على الانتقاص من دور المسلمين في بناء الوحدة وتحقيق التعايش، ونسبة الفضل في ذلک إلى الغرب المسيحي، وکذلک تبين أن انتشار الإسلام واشتمال دولته على العديد من الأجناس والتقاليد أمرٌ لا يؤدي إلى غياب الوحدة الإسلامية، ليس لأن الإسلام يعترف بالتنوع في إطار الوحدة العامة، ومما وضح من الدراسة أن طعن "جب" في النظام السياسي الإسلامي مدعيا أنه استبدادي وقديم وعاجز عن مسايرة الحياة الحديثة بغرض فرض النظام السياسي الغربي على المسلمين، وتوصي الدراسة ببيان الحقائق التاريخية التي حرص هاملتون جب وغيره على تزييفها، وکذلک بالحرص على معالجة الأخطاء والمشکلات التي رصدها "هاملتون جب" کمعوقات للوحدة الإسلامية، وکان منصفاً فيها.

Keeping pace with modern life for the purpose of imposing the Western political system on Muslims, The study recommends clarifying the historical facts that Hamilton Gibb and others were keen to falsify, as well as keenness to address the errors and problems that Hamilton Gibb identified as obstacles to Islamic unity, and he was fair in them.
